We are incredibly grateful for your continued dedication to our community and are excited to invite you to participate in the upcoming Solid Series Summer Open BJJ tournament. This event is a special opportunity for both kids and adults to experience competition in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.
Your commitment to growth — both on and off the mats — is truly inspiring, and we sincerely thank you for being part of this journey with us. Whether it’s your first time competing or you’re already familiar with tournaments, our goal is to ensure that everyone walks away from this event with great memories and a sense of accomplishment, no matter the outcome.
Thank you for your enthusiasm and participation — we can’t wait to share this exciting day with all of you.
Weigh-ins take place the evening before the tournament. All athletes must complete weigh-in to receive their wristband.
Satellite weigh-in locations (no wristbands issued at these sites): TBD.
If you cannot make it to a Friday weigh-in, email us at info@solidseriesevents.com. Anyone who does not receive their wristband on Friday must pick it up at the Check-In Table on event day.
All athletes should arrive at least 1 hour before their first scheduled match.
All competitors completed check-in and weigh-ins on Friday. When you arrive:
Matches may run earlier or later than posted. If you miss your match, we’ll do our best to fit you in. If no match is possible, you’ll receive a future event credit or full refund.
Each mat has one chair per side for the coach or parent of the active competitor. No other individuals are allowed inside the mat area during matches.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers receive custom Solid Open medals. Medals must be picked up at the event — no mail-outs or holds.
After weigh-ins on Friday night, our team finalizes all brackets. This process takes several hours — check Smoothcomp early Saturday morning for your finalized division and match times.

While you’re cornering your athletes, please ensure your voice is the main source of instruction during the match. A strong coach-student relationship makes a better competitor.
