Terms of
Service.
The rules that govern using this site, buying from it, and competing at or attending a Solid Series event.
Agreeing to these terms
Using solidseriesevents.com, buying from it, or attending or competing at a Solid Series event means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or attend.
Who may use the site
You must be 18 or older to buy from this site or to sign up for our email or text updates. A parent or guardian must handle registration, purchases, and consent on behalf of a competitor under 18.
Registration and waivers
Competitor registration for Solid Series events happens on Smoothcomp, not on this site. Entry fees, registration windows, division rules, and the competitor waiver are all handled there and are subject to Smoothcomp’s terms. Anything this site says about dates, divisions, or pricing is informational — Smoothcomp is the record.
Purchases made on this site
Spectator tickets and professional match footage are sold here.
- Spectator tickets are delivered by email with a unique QR code, and are valid for one admission to the event named on them. Do not share the code — the first scan admits, and any later scan of the same code is refused.
- Match footage is delivered by email, normally within 24 hours of the event, to the address given at checkout. We can only deliver footage that exists — if a match was not captured, we will refund it.
- Prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider.
- Refunds for event entries follow the refund policy published on our Event Info page. Ticket and footage refunds are handled case by case — email us.
Conduct at events
Everyone at a Solid Series event — athletes, coaches, corners, parents, and spectators — is bound by our Code of Conduct. Event officials may remove anyone who breaks it, without refund.
Risk
Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai are combat sports. Competing carries a real risk of injury. Competitors accept that risk through the waiver signed during registration. Spectators attend at their own risk and should follow the directions of event staff.
Photography and video
By attending or competing you agree that Solid Series may photograph and film the event and may use those images and that footage to promote the series, without payment to you.
Referee certification exam
The online referee exam is offered for certification purposes. Answers are your own work. Passing certifies you against the Solid Series ruleset for the current season; it is not a credential of any other organization, and we may revoke it for conduct reasons.
Email and text message program
Email. By giving us your email address you agree to receive event updates from Solid Series. Unsubscribe at any time from the link in any message.
Text messages (SMS). By ticking the text-updates box and giving us your mobile number, you agree to receive event-update text messages from Solid Series at that number, sent using an automatic telephone dialing system.
- Program: Solid Series event updates — schedules, brackets, registration windows, and event-day logistics.
- Frequency: varies; roughly four messages per month, more in an event week.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages; your carrier may.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation, then nothing further.
- Help: reply HELP, or email info@solidseriesevents.com.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can buy tickets, footage, or entries without agreeing to texts.
- Carriers: supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Your number: if you change or give up your mobile number, tell us so we do not text someone else.
How we handle the data behind both programs is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
The Solid Series name, logo, site design, photography, and event footage belong to Solid Series. You may share our posts and pages. You may not resell our footage, or use our name or marks to imply we endorse or sanction something we do not.
Accuracy
We keep event dates, venues, and pricing on this site as current as we can, but the registration platform is the record. If this site and Smoothcomp disagree, Smoothcomp wins.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Solid Series is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or attendance at an event. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of the page moves when we do, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
